The next part of the game is the traversal and exploration. Parries make up a large part of the combat system, and enemies are pretty good at them so make sure you stay on your toes or you will outright lose this battle. You have a selection of weapons and armor that you are able to choose from, and they will provide you with alternate fighting styles or new buffs and bonuses.
The combat is fast paced, with lots of dodges, rolls, and evasions to keep the momentum up.
Your movements are big and fast, yet deliberate, you will need to stay switched on for all combat for if you falter, they will knock you down and destroy you. So, the gameplay to Stray Blade would be most similar to that of Assassins Creed: Valhalla, with maybe a little bit of Dark Souls, but mostly Assassins Creed.
